I wonder what you would look like and what kind of personality you would have because you were such a sweet lil baby all smiles. You looked so much like your sister Gracie and your mommy when you were born I couldn't believe it. I know that you would be running all over mam-maw Beverly's yard with your brothers and sisters. It's hard to believe it has been a year since the doctor's told us that you had no brain activity. We all thought that you would pull through but I guess god had others plans for you he needed a special angel in heaven. Your mom did a very brave thing when she let the doctor's take your organs so that another mother wouldn't have to say goodbye to their babies! I love you Abby!!
I think of you everyday... I will always remember how when I would come in from work you were always at mamaw Beverly's house while mommy was in school and I would say there is aunt Misty's Lil girl your eyes would light up and you would give me a beautiful smile and just laugh. I would kiss you under your chubby lil neck and you would giggle out loud. I have so many wonderful memories of the 3 months you were with us, you brought so much joy to my life. We all miss you so much especially your mommy but we know that you are safe in uncle Rusty's arms.

So very sorry for your loss of little Rustie. Though with you for such a short time she leaves a heartful of love. It makes me think of the psalmist David who wrote in one of his melodies, Psalm 139:16, "your eyes saw even the embryo of me, And in your book all its parts were down in writing." The expression 'all its parts' is actually ones own individual DNA. How unique we are! So how special Rustie is to God who David is speaking to that he in the sense keeps a record of each one of us. Little bits of knowledge like this gives us comfort in our living God. May you continue to hold on to that special love Rustie left for you. Being acquainted with the loss of my son, words of comfort and encouragement from my loved ones I now share with others. For example words of Revelation 21:4 reads..."And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither mourning nor pain be any more the former things have passed away." It goes on to say in verse 5: "And the One seated on the throne said: Look! I am making all things new. Also, he says: "Write because these words are faithful and true," At your leisure please read Jesus' promise in John 5:28,29. Psalm 37:11 explains where this will occur. It gives us the expectation of a bright and beautiful future when we will be with our loved ones again. May our Almighty God and Father give you and yours peace with these words of comfort and a sure hope (Psalm 83:18). 'When Someone You Love Dies' is a free booklet you can request from any one of Jehovah'sWitnesses. In fact it begins with a parents loss of their child. This booklet is a wonderful source of information to read along with your Bible of the sure hope from the terrible "sting of death" 1 Corinthians 15:55 talks about. A beautiful little angel showed up at heaven's gates
Confused and unknowing the plan that for her awaits.
Then another little angel walked up and took her hand and said, "Please don't be sad your in the Promise Land."
"I'm glad to be here but I do not think I was to go, Prehaps this was a mistake, for my mommy wanted me so."
The little angel smiled and said, "My mommy wanted me too, but to heaven I was to go.
You see, we do not get to choose when on Earth it's time to go.
He gave us life, love and joy and a mother's womb to grow.
The Lord still needs new angels to guide them down on Earth. To watch over, comfort them, and help them see their worth."
"Is there away I can still sleep in my mommy's bed?"
The little angel smiled and said, "that luxury you'll keep.
I visit my mommy nightly and sing her softly to sleep."
The little angel replied, "then I think I'll like it here. I'll visit my mommy nightly and weaken her pain and fears. I love her and will keep her safe at night and in between,
And let her know with a sweet memory that she is still with me."
The greeting angel gave her a big hug and said, "until our mommy's meet us here let's be best friends."
"Okay," said the new angel, "that sounds good to me."
Then the two little angels sat and played keeping their mommy's in sight,
Humming the tunes that they would sing to their mommy's tonight....
